We understand that dogs are active and social creatures. Socialized dogs will have access to unlimited playtime during the day. For dogs who are shy or prefer not to interact with other dogs, they will enjoy their play time on their own or with a human companion.
Diet
Dogs are fed two times daily with a midday snack in between. Diet provided is Purina Pro Plan or Purina One Adult Dog Formula. For those picky eaters, chicken or beef broth is added to encourage consumption.
For owners who want to provide their pet’s regular food from home during his or her stay, we ask that owner-provided food be prepackaged for each meal.
Medication Administration
DPC is staffed with a certified veterinary assistant to administer medications and provide injections if required.
OVERNIGHT CARE
Overnight residents at Domestic Pet Care are offered luxurious accommodations in a brand new, state of the art, “slumber area.” Canine residents will enjoy soft music designed to promote relaxation, and may watch television featuring canine movies and animated cartoons. Clients are encouraged to visit and see where your pets will be kept, as well as offer the dog the opportunity to visit before his or her stay.
